Kerry O'Grady

Kerry is an Acupuncturist living in Leamington Spa. Despite living so far inland the sea is dear to her heart and her novels are set in wild seascapes where the creatures she finds there echo the quests of her characters to engage with their own wild souls.

Kerry spends as much time as possible visiting the Cambrian coast of Wales and the Atlantic coast of Ireland, where she finds the inspiration for her writing.

About 'North Atlantic Drift'

Clare lives in a remote house on the Irish coast with her father, a marine biologist, and her mother who spends more and more time away in Dublin. She's bored and fed up until her father's scientific survey puts her into the path of Ronan, the son of a local fisherman.

She falls for his aloof charm when he takes her out to Seal Island in his boat. The pressure mounts as her schoolwork suffers and her parents begin to interfere.

This is a story of first love and loss, set against a backdrop of the stunning Connemara coast, the Atlantic Ocean, and its inhabitants; the seals and gannets who live on the island alongside Ronan.

Clare feels she has found true love; his wild soul resonates with hers, but can Ronan ever be the man she needs him to be?
