Mike Whitfield

Mike specialises in bowls and platters both decorative and functional using where possible locally sourced timber.

Whether it be Ash, Cherry, Elm, Hawthorn, Holly, Laburnum, Oak, Maple, Sycamore or Yew (Burrs being his main passion) each piece is unique revealing surprising and fascinating grain patterns for all to see in the finished article.

All items are produced in his Workshop on the Llyn Peninsula with pieces exhibited in the Oriel Plas Glyn y Weddw, Llanbedrog, Bodnant Craft Centre and various other galleries in Cheshire and Derbyshire.
