Huw Lewis Jones

Huw was born and raised in Dolgellau North Wales. He completed his art “O” and “A” levels and in his final year prepared a foundation course portfolio.

He visited Liverpool, then the capital of North Wales, regularly. He decided to study medicine in Liverpool, arrived in 1976 and has lived there ever since in the area of Garston, South Liverpool.

Painting has always been an important part of his life and he has continued to develop his style over 20 years of painting.
