Judith lives in Oswestry which is surrounded by the gentle rolling hills of the Borders. She also is a regular visitor to Scotland and especially the Black Isle where the sea and coastline acts as a backdrop to distant hills. These two landscapes are her inspiration, although it is more often the animals, creatures and Myths which are associated with these areas which form the main focus of her work.
She is a printmaker producing collagraphs where the plate is a low relief collage made from paper and material. Sometimes the collaged plate is the finished work, especially for larger pieces (because she only has a small press).
She has been a professional artist for the last twenty years, and has been part of two local artist's co-operatives and was a founder member of the Borderland Visual Arts Network in Oswestry taking part in their Annual Open Studios for the last 13 years
