Eldnirt Design

Eldnirt Design primarily create individually hand crafted oak chopping boards and serving platters. The material for the boards is sourced from Welsh timber mills and most boards are made up from off cuts, transport cover boards and scrap that is generally destined for firewood. Due to the core product coming in all shapes and sizes and generally coming with a number of blemishes each item is beautifully unique.

Rob, of Eldnirt Design, spent most of his years working in the construction industry working on commercial projects in Worcestershire and the West Midlands and moved to Wales nearly ten years ago. He now enjoys being more creative with his skills and not having to make precision cuts and straight lines required on site. Working with the form of the wood to create these beautiful boards makes it very rewarding and each item is marked with two ebony dots signifying it comes from their workshop. All products are made from natural oak whilst having sleek curves and lines meaning that they are suited to both traditional and modern environments.
